1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
- “Artist” refers to the solo singer providing the services.
- “Client” refers to the individual or business booking the Artist.
- “Event” refers to the performance date, venue, and time agreed by both parties.
- “Agreement” refers to these Terms & Conditions together with any written booking confirmation.
2. Booking & Deposit
2.1
A booking is not considered confirmed until the Client receives written confirmation from the Artist.
2.2
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure the Event date.
2.3
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 5 days before the Event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Payment Terms
3.1
Payment may be made via:
- Bank transfer
- PayPal
- Cash
3.2
Any additional services requested on the day of the Event may incur extra charges.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1
Client cancellations must be made in writing.
4.2
If the Client cancels the booking:
- More than 30 days before the Event: the deposit is retained
- Between 30 and 14 days before the Event: 50% of the total fee is payable
- Within 14 days of the Event: 100% of the total fee is payable
4.3
If the Artist must cancel due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances:
- A full refund will be issued OR
- The Artist will attempt to provide a suitable replacement performer (subject to availability)
The Artist shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the Client.
5. Performance Requirements
5.1
The Client must ensure the Artist has adequate performance space, lighting, and access to electricity where required.
5.2
The Client agrees to obtain any permissions, licences, or approvals required by the venue.
5.3
The Artist reserves the right to take reasonable breaks during performances.
6. Travel & Accommodation
6.1
Events located more than 30 miles from the Artist’s base may be subject to additional travel charges.
6.2
For Events requiring an overnight stay, suitable accommodation must be provided or paid for by the Client.
7. Client Responsibilities
7.1
The Client is responsible for ensuring that the venue complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
7.2
The Client must ensure that behaviour from guests or staff does not threaten the safety of the Artist or damage equipment.
7.3
Any damage to equipment caused by the Client or guests may result in repair or replacement costs being charged.
8. Use of Media & Promotion
8.1
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Client agrees that photographs or video recordings taken of the Artist during the Event may be used for promotional purposes.
8.2
The Artist will not record, livestream, or broadcast the Event without the Client’s prior consent.
9. Force Majeure
The Artist shall not be held liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including (but not limited to):
- Extreme weather
- Venue closures
- Illness
- Acts of nature
- Government restrictions
10. Liability
10.1
The Artist’s total liability in relation to the Event is limited to the total fee paid.
10.2
The Artist is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses incurred by the Client.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, with any disputes subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in Norfolk.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By paying the deposit or confirming the booking in writing, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
